PROJECTS:
Below you will find a small selection of the many projects I have worked on throughout my career as a creative writer, editor, and marketer. To see writing samples, click here.
Bircus Video Promotion
Producer, Videographer, Editor
In 2020, Bircus Brewing Company had to adapt like so many other businesses. Late in the year, the state of Kentucky closed its bars as a precaution, but restaurants were allowed to maintain business as usual. Former Ringling Brother Paul Miller and Chef Michael Cusamano teamed up to build an authentic wood-fired pizza menu worthy of the Queen City. To promote the expansion, Miller asked me to create a promotional video telling the story of Bircus Brewing Co.'s new pizza offerings. I had a $0 budget, an iPhone 11, access to the brewery, and select B-roll from a previous commercial project. The result received nearly 5,000 views on Facebook, more than 4 times the brewery's typical views.
The video was later used during a board meeting with Covington City Council to encourage approval of the new Bircus location on Pike Street.

Christian Nicholas Gough Website & Instagram
Designer
After a year of life-changing circumstances, Cincinnati music scene-staple Christian Nicholas Gough has poured soul and ingenuity into a new solo project. His album, Repeating Circles, is set to release in early 2022 via Best Friend Records. Gough asked me to design and build a website to help promote his new endeavor. The current iteration of the site promotes streaming platforms that host his music as well as listing any upcoming shows. As the project continues to grow, the website will also be used as an e-commerce platform for merchandise.
Gough also hired me to manage his Instagram account in the month leading up to his album release (March 11-April 8, 2022). In that span of time, we saw an +815% increase in accounts reached, +75.2% increase in accounts engaged, and 39 new followers.

Print Magazine Hollywood Issue: San Francisco
Associate Digital Editor
In the spring of 2017, Print magazine released its Hollywood: San Francisco issue—a spin-off of Vanity Fairʼs Hollywood Issue. As associate digital editor, I was tasked with fact-checking and proofreading at each stage of the publishing process. The final version won a Folio Eddie Award later that year.
